Thumping & bumping is all about the music beat at the beaches. I'll tell you what band or single act is playing at what venue. Who is having a benefit or event in the local area. We love to dance, play music, helping out others & promoting a feeling of well being. The first step is to de-stress your mind, leave your cares behind. Step two is to relax & unwind. Step three is shake your behind....shake, shake, shake, shake your bootie. That's how easy it is to be a relaxed "Son o' the Beach", like me or a "Beach Wife" like Lisa, my other half. One, two, three, one, two, three...by George I think you've got it.
I am thumping on stage watching all of you bumping. You won't see me bumping though.... I once tried it & let's just say I tried to dip Lisa & I dropped her. Not a pretty site to drop a "Beach Wife", not once but twice in one evening. What can I say, I was young & thought I was a cross between John Travolta & Fred Astaire. Lisa says it was more like an orangutan does Fred Astaire & John Travolta. LOL, hey live & learn. Lisa & I agreed, that I don't dip her & she doesn't play the bass. Yes, about fifteen years ago, she thought it would be fun to do my job. All the band members allowed their wives to attempt to play on stage. BIG MISTAKE! There were no words for how awful the sound was to the human ear. Suffice it to say, the bartender did not have to run anyone out.... they were already running away. LOL, lesson learned, but it was all in good Fun. Here's the list of all the spots to hear some good tunes while at the dunes.
